This will be in the back ground for pics. of the miniatures I make.
The window is on tracks so it can open and close. The glass is scavenged from a clear
plastic lid off a Christmas tree ball box (perfect).
It's covered in 2 coats of spackle. Once it sets up I'll lightly sand it and paint it an
almond base color. When the paint dries I'll chip off some of the spackle and start
weathering. I'll carve loose rock into the uncovered sections.
The window will have a box behind it to provide a view into.
I'll make wrought iron bars to fit in front of the window or shutters (not sure yet).
Then some signs or propaganda posters. Maybe a drainpipe.
I'll get more progress pics.
Thanks for looking,

That's some serious commitment to the craft!

Well done! Can't wait to see it finished.

Now it's been sprayed with a textured paint. After the paint dried I scratch down into
the spackle to make it look like popped plaster.
White washed the window wood a bit but may go with a darker color.
