Just an interesting FYI..........
I use a Discover card to make my online knife purchases. Last month when I placed my order for the BG ASH, I got the customary $1 charge.
Well, the closing date for the month came up and the only balance I had was the $1 charge. Discover credited my account the $1 and noted it as a "SMALL BALANCE CREDIT"
I just placed my order for the TRASH1...........$1 charged to my account...........I wonder how many times they'll do this?

Usually, most companies that take online orders charge the 1 to verify the card. IIRC, this is done by their card "reading" system. The dollar is then credited back.

I ordered a TGLB they charged $1 when I first placed the order back on june 27th. and they never sent the $1 back... but when the TGLB charged and shipped a few weeks ago they charged me $1 less overall.. so it'll probably work out.
