I was so suprised to see the mailman at my door this morning with a BIG box from HI!! In it was the cutest (now how many times have you heard a knife refered to as cute) Hanuman you ever saw. His ears are so cute and he just looks like he's up to something  The blade was sweet, too. I haven't been able to pry it out of my duaghter hands to see if it is sharp or what. The tools were well done, too, and it still amazes me to see all the different designs in the handles of those little guys. I am tickled to have finally snagged one of these. Now to see about a Gaurud.

The other goodie was my much awaited for (never have quite made it in the frenzies before) AK Bowie. I love it. I will have to finally for real learn how to sharpen. and remove a little, and i mean a little, rust. I really had to look to see it. The knife was a lot bigger than I anticipated and I'm glad. I like it alot. I can't believe the sheath too. The button on the flap thingy  says 1907 Great seal of the state of Oklahoma. It was so small I had to remove my glasses and get real close to read it. If Karen hadn't seen it I'd have never known. How many others have that same button. I found it interesting.

Good catch of the day. I'm very pleased!! Thanks Uncle and Yangdu!! :D

My seax has one of those buttons too. Now gotta get over to the Post Office to see if my tibetan sword made it.

well, I won't go into what monkys do fer fun...;)

Yes, Seen the OK snaps on HI seaxes, HI Bowies, and on the recent Cherokee Roses.

Guess I wouldn't call the ears on my Hanuman cute, but he does look like he's up to something. I have to say the shipping time is surprisingly short, and my packages have to go through Phoenix, to head to the high country up in Prescott. -- Jim

Mamav- My Hanuman has a nice smile and does not look combative- this is a good spirit. My son's love him.

I guess it's a monkey, but because I don't like monkeys I just consider him the little hanuman. (hanuman- what that? translation monkey I 'll bet)
