  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Shot a note to KA-BAR customer service on the weekend, to report that one of my grip bolts had come out (and gotten lost) on my BK9's first outing. Got a reply just now, informing me that they're dropping a few replacements in the mail to me.

+1!

KaBar takes care of you. I had a broken sheath on my BK2 when I got it, and they sent me a new one free of charge.

I can not tell you how refreshing it is for me to read things like this from companies that still are located in America & still make things in America. This is part of what "Made in America" is all about. I know the sheaths are not, but the Knife is. This is good business practice & will ensure life-long customers that are happy customers & will gladly give "word-of-mouth" advertising for free. :D I think this is good stuff because-well....I am an American.

Which pleases me to no end, that they decided to do the BK 1 & BK 6 domestically. Worth waiting for I think.

Yes, me too. Made in the USA still means a LOT to a LOT of people. I am VERY happy they made that choice as well. Out of the 15 people who were at the WNY Gathering, 2 said they were not going to buy them because they were going to be made off shore. Then, once Toooj said they changed thier minds & they in fact would be Made in America, they said that they would in fact be buying them for sure. 2 out of 15 is a good start.

Had the same issue with my BK-2. One short phone call and a couple of days wait and the new bolds arrived. I got 4 in the mail to replace one. Thanks Guys.

Got the envelope from 'em today... Same for me -- lost one and got four in the mail! Awesome!
