Hi everybody. I have a question regarding the 1. gen Spyderco Native, more spesifically the C41PSBK.

On newer Spydercos the scales, blades are held together with screws & can easily be modified. On the model in mention however, most of the construction is held together with what looks like stamped pins.

Can these knives be taken apart?

Is there custom scales & screws for these models?

Are the «stamped pins» of quality, ie; will they endure hard use?

Thank you so much guys & sorry for the bad english.

Check spydercoparts dot com

You'll need to drill out the factory rivets. They should have the screws you need to replace them.

Might even have a video, that will walk you through, what you need to do.

There is nothing made for those old models. It is best to leave it alone, otherwise you'll end up with a broken knife. The knife is fine as built.

From 2014.
