Thanks to the Guys who brought up the Harbor Freight sale of that 1" belt sander!
I live about 80 miles from a HF (Savannah), so planned a day trip. After finding the display, I found that they hadn't had any in stock since September. The store Manager gave me a $30 discount on the next model (about $40) that had a disk sander to boot.
Just playing with the thing I did some stock removal and beveled a blade in about two hours - something that usually took a couple of days with file and bench grinder.
Thanks again, guys! Now if I can only find that link for 1 X 30 grinding/polishing belts.
