Well I'm closing in on 1 month ownership of the Vantage Pro. It's usually
a sure thing that when I start out really liking a knife, that later on I'll
find some knit picky things I don't like, it just always happens. Now after
almost a month I'll comment on the Pro. I can't find a darn thing to complain
about!!!!!!! The Pro has been my EDC since I bought it. I still
find myself admiring and opening and closing it many times a day, along with
using it too. It fits my hand so perfect, opens and closes without even
having to think about it. It's still 99% as sharp as it was when I got it.
A lot of Tape slicing, box opening, stick whittling, you name it and I've
done it. No really hard use of any type, just the things you buy a knife
like this to use on.
I had some pretty strong runners for EDC, and only carrying 1 knife usually
doesn't last a complete month without a day or two substitution, but not
this time.
I still carry my 110 everyday, but the Pro is the one that always gets
'pulled out, just because it's so handy.
I thought since the Pro was basically a "righty" knife, that it might not do
as well for a "lefty" like me with the hole half covered by the liner on the left side. The flipper
works very well, and that's what I always use. Now that I've gotten the hang of that flipper, it's an easy flip to get the blade deployed and locked
with just one try.
If any of you are sitting on the fence about this one, jump on down and
pick one up!!!!! It's one heck of a BUCK!!!!!!!!
Thanks again BUCK, for making a quality USA built knife, that most anyone
can afford. The Vantage Pro is a WINNER!
Regards Sonny
