Im looking for a mid sized bag to fill in between my maxpedition pygmy falcon2 and my internal frame pack.
something between 2000-2500 cubic inches, something with 2 bottom straps for a sleeping bag is very essential
side pouches for water bottles high on the list as well
needs with be made out of tough nylon similar to what maxpedition uses as I am very tough on my gear
a waist strap is also something I would really love
under 100$ is a must im feeling really burnt after the Christmas rush
Im looking at this thoughts?
thanks in advance

I'm in the market for the same kind of pack, and I am strongly considering several of Osprey's packs in the 25-30 liter size (Talon and Kestrel). They can be had for close to $100. Reviews are great and Osprey has a great warranty.

However they are not even a little bit tactical looking, if that is a must.

I've been eyeing one of those Protech packs in brown or green for a while now. Just can't justify a new pack right now while in school. Email/PM Storl, he owns Going Gear and I'm sure he could tell you more about them. IMO They look really nice. Right now I'm using a medium Alice pack with frame for my in between pack. You may want to consider that also. The side pockets will hold Nalgene or sports drink bottles and you can attach stuff to it with Alice clips/molle.
