I was just at my local knife store looking for a new multi-tool, and I saw the new Shallot 1840. ON the BLADE it said; 1 of 500, does anybody know if that means that that knife is the 1st one made of 500? Or does it mean that it is randomly one of the five hundred knives that were were produced in that run?
Also I looked at two other Shallots and they had NO MARKINGS on the blade at all!!
If it is the first one of 500 Is it a collectors item?? If it is they are holding it for me for today and I will buy it. Other wise I will hold off as I plan on buying the RAM first.
Oooogh, I think I'm coming down with the Kershaw bug!
