Not much to say, is there.


In many ways I hope they come around again. In another way, they can be a bit more meaningful when there aren't that many of them. Either way we win.
 
Your photos always rock, Sweet. I'm upgrading cameras shortly.

I put up a few to show size... it looks bigger alone or with its kin.

How do you like it?

The wood is beautiful - maybe if one comes around again I can snag it, and wear one on each side, like Hopalong Cassidy with khukuris instead of six-shooters :D
 
Is that the # 7 I wanted ?, it sure is a sweet blade, I did email Yangdu back & was offered # 9, but I'm looking for users right now & that blade was to purty to use, plus I'm new here & never met Uncle Bill, so I passed so someone who knew Uncle Bill could get it, plus every HI blade I get is a memorial to the Man, instead, later that day Yangdu found me an 18" wood handled Chainpuri, which is what I really wanted, it just arrived & it is awesome, exactly what I was looking for, so it all worked out in the end, if I would of got the Sayan, I wouldn't of had the money for the Chainpuri.

Ad Astra, thanks. My long time ago discontinued Sony 717 still works for me..What camera are upgrading to? The Salyan is a beauty and handles like one, everything just flows nice!

dragn_flame, yep this is the #7 that Yangdu picked for me. Can you post pics of your Chainpuri?

Sweet, this is interesting. I was doing a search on your posts and noticed you had cleaned up your old pics. Now your salyan pic has been replaced with your new YCS karda pic.

Hope nothing got screwed up with the forum attachments!

Hey Norm, last night while loading up the 14" YCS Karda I deleted my gallery by accident :rolleyes: so somehow the YCS got loaded up in the 1st pic as seen above :rolleyes: that's what happens when you work with a new freebie gallery to host your pics and dont really know how to use it...If you want to see a pic of something just let me know it only takes a few mins to get it done and up :D
