Here's my poor attempt at makin' a sheath for my recently aquired small Sebenza.

I had some leather cuttin's layin' around and I liked the way this one felt and looked so I tried my hand at sheath makin', to the sheathmakers and leather workers on the forums, I apologize for my attempt, you guys got nothin' to fear from me. :)

I will take any advice or criticism you guys have to offer, I know I shoulda used my awl but I had my SAK Alox Farmer, a thread, needle amd about an hour's worth of time to kill.

I used to do a lot of duct work so I always see these flattened out shapes in my head on scrap pieces of anything then I gotta bend fold or otherwise manipulate to make what I see, to many years as a fabricator has affected my brain. ;)

I made a folding sheath for my ESEE AH1 , that's on here somewhere.

I've made a few sheaths for fixed blades, but never for a folder. You've inspired me to give it a go! I just so happen to have a bunch of veg tanned leather and tons of tools plus a couple of days off (after tonight), so thank you!

I like your effort too. I'll post up my results when I'm done. :)

Props to you and anyone else that has the patients with a needle and thread. Is that going to be a pocket sheath or does it have a belt loop?

Overall looks good and as long as it works than your good to go. Although you may want to practice on your stitching technique :)

Yea it's a pocket sheath, I thought about puttin' a belt loop on it but I figured on the next one I'll try.

I shoulda spaced my holes a lot better and it woulda looked a lot neater if I'd used an awl instead of a sewin' needle, I figure once it's been in my pocket awhile you'll never see stitchin'. ;)

Thanks for all the feedback folks.

Very nice man!
Stitching is a lil rough, but I really like it. Gives it a nice hand made look and I love that. Also you said you used a needle and thread in leather, probably not the easiest thing in the world. It definitely looks better than if I had done it. I'm not the best sewer, but as long as it holds I don't care :D
If I had a CRK I'd offer to buy a sheath from you ;)
Also love you seb! I like to see wear on a knife, they look much much better that way c:
