Here is another Trapper ( my favoright design ) nearly ready. I have a little bit of clean up on it but it is about 95%.
Same dimensions as the Narwal Trapper but with my own Mahogany dyed home jigged bone. I`m still struggling with the nail nicks yet but I`ll get it, there is nothing wrong with them just don`t seem right to me. Let me know what you think?

I like it a lot. I can hardly wait for you to start selling them!

Isn't there a special wheel you can use to cut out the nail nicks?

i really like the color and pattern of that jigged bone :)

it seems to me that the wheel you're using for the nailnicks is too small in diameter, and either the corner/edge of the wheel isnt a steep enough angle, or that your cutting angle is too steep. please keep us posted:)

Hey guys thanks for the nice coments. I`ve got the nail nick problem figured, I now have made a tool on the lathe for cutting these nail nicks out, now they look good.
If you are asking how many knives in general I`ve made... I have no idea, but if you are asking about slip joints then i`d say 4, 1 trapper that really didn`t turn out that great, then the Narwal trapper for my birthday, then the first Muskrat design and this one you see now is the second good working trapper design. I`ve started numbering them this one would be #1 04/04. Each different pattern will have separate numbers and dates.

Thanks for looking
