About 3 years ago I broke the plastic clip on my Spydie Delica. I figured I would just go out and buy a new knife. I had no idea that Spyderco actually fixed their products if they broke, I figured it was my fault.
Earlier this year I learned otherwise and a few days ago I shipped it off with $10 and a explanation of what happened.
2 Days ago I got it back.
WOWEE!
This is one bad little knife! They reground the serrations to a pattern with staggering teeth and sharpened it, I got the partially serrated version. I never AUS8 could hold such a mean edge! And they installed a new metal clip.
Thanks Spyderco!
P.S.With the knife they sent me some really neat literature.
I have a C11PSBK Delica, and I am gonna need another... something

Now you know why there are so many Spyderholics out there. :D

Once you've been bitten by the Spyder, one Spydie is just not enough. I bought the Delica SE as my first Spyderco...that was 14 Spydies ago and counting. :)

Maybe I should start a new thread, But I have the 2002 catalog in front of me and I am curious...
What do yall think about the Fred Perrin fixed blade knife? At first I thought it was ugly, then different, now it is starting to grow on me. Same is going with the Temperance.
I might end up with one of the 2. Mainly cause I am growing a likening towards carrying fixed blades and I want to try out this VG-10 suff everyone is raving about.

And hey...there is a Trainer for the Temperance...hmmm. Might need 2 of those so my friends and I can have some fun.

The Delica is my favorite knife, by far.
As for Spyderco's fixed blades, I must confess I don't like them. I know they are fine knives, well thought and everything, yet they look more like ordinary kitchen knives to me :(
