It has been a long time since I have posted anything new. Been busy with some other things. Here is a Chef knife I recently finished. I wasn't sure this one was going to make it to the finish line. I had a number of setbacks but quit isn't in my vocabulary. Please forgive the crappy iPhone pictures.Comments welcomed.

Very appealing package. Nothing on this that I don't find "right". The grind, bolsters, frame, pin and handle material and finish all look great!

Splendid work - inspiring too!

Thanks.

This one isn't a direction I would have gone if left to my own devices. A customer came to me with a knife he already owns which he likes. I designed this for him to include some of the features and dimensions he liked about that knife, like the soft round contours and handle style. Aside from that I wanted to deliver a knife with great geometry and balance. The knife has a bit of heft to it, which the customer likes, but the balance point is right where the maker's mark is. The grind is thin but not too delicate. The customer was very happy and will be coming back for a paring knife order to complete this set.
