Got my new Lefty 25 in today, and was shocked to see it was built literally 10 days ago.

So it went from Idaho to Oregon, and on to Ohio in the 10 days it has been in existence. Since it took a week to get here from Oregon, it has been doing nothing but traveling since it was born.

Perfectly centered, not a scratch, smooth as can be and no lock stick of course.

After the day I've had, it is the only good thing that has happened today!

I know at least 2-3 others that ordered theirs the same day. Are yours in yet?

If so, post them up!

Off Topic just a little.

I bought a Ruger .41 Magnum in 1997 that was on a gun dealer's shelf for Seventeen Years before I bught it. Ruger test fired it in April

of 1980.

One of the absolute best handgun cartridges ever developed. I had a Smith & Wesson 6" Model 57, nickel-plated, in .41 Mag. Loved that gun until someone stole it.

And I still miss it!

Got my LH 25 3 or 4 days ago with birth date of March 16. Looks like just about your birthday also.
My blade is a tad off center and hard to open. Detent seems abnormally stiff upon opening and does not open smoothly all the way around the pivot arc without some slight hesitations. My small 21 & zaan are both really smooth.
I would guess I've opened and closed it nearly a thousand times in the few days I've had it. Adjusting the pivot screw doesn't seem to have an effect. I'll give it a few more days and if there's no change I'll take it down and re-lube it even though I doubt that will fix the problem.
I know that for some mystical reason some knives need more of a break-in period than other knives and others are good to go right out of the box. Oh well.

Mine was also born on march 17, 2015. Came in the older style box and not one of the thin, everything crammed in so I can't put it back like it came, get on my last nerve newer boxes. I was stoked about that. Now, what to do with the 4 RH 25's I have.

Mine came in the new box, but it was packed great. I asked them to send me one centered and with no lock stick, and that is just what I got.

I did notice the stonewash finish has changed on the new one. It is not as "fine" a stonewash finish as the ones on my other 25s.

TOTALLY off topic, but I am going to ask anyway..

When I see these attachments posted as links, I click on them...Never have they ever worked for me as the following screen tells me I don't have permission.
I can't be the only one seeing this?

bhyde, I've tried a couple of times too with no success. No idea what they are.

Thank you for the confirmation. I was starting to think there was something wrong with the way I was trying to view them.

Sorry for that, guys. That was the only time the forum would not allow me to post a pic straight from my computer.
