I had to cheat a bit with this one the guy is leaving work after 14 years of service and I didn't have time to send a blade away for heat treating so I bought the blade in from the Texas knife company only took a few days to get here.He is a friend and will do all the field testing for me to see how the Honeycomb holds up.Scales formula still not handed down to number one son more info after field testing.

10" blade S/S made in Japan
Black honeycomb scales
White Micarter sheath

As always + - comments are welcome

Looks like you could do some nice slicing and dicing with that one.
Nice work.....

I thought the handle would create a bit more interest, so many views but only one comment.

The handles definately look neat. I like a backwards slant on the guard area of the handle material (like yours) but that is just my preference. Can you feel the honeycomb pattern at all through the material?

I think you did an excellent job on the Sheath. I've made a few kydex and I think a longer blade like this is something that would be more of a challenge, but yours looks very even all the way around. Very nice.

Thank You,at the moment you can just feel the honeycomb but if you buff it a little longer I can make them stand out more.
I would love to find longer hollow rivets to rivet the belt loop but i had to use very soft Aluminium ones here.
