Well, I can hardly believe it's been ten years on this awesome ride.
This time ten years ago I was in Arkansas at the Bill Moran school in Old Washington.
My wife and I had been on a cruise with some family and we sailed into New York harbor Sat. Sept 8th. I remember staying up all night and watching the sun rise between the World trade center buildings and saying to myself " I need to get up to the top of one of those buildings one of these days"...of course as you all know they were taken from us Sept.11 on a tuesday. The world became a very uncertain place for all of us that day. I contacted the school and asked if they were going to set another date and they said no...and that life needs to go on...they were still going to hold the class. My flight was set to leave Sat. the 15th., but ALL the planes were grounded. I talked with my wife about it and we made a plan if any other attacks came. So I rented a car and left on the 14th on a 1600 mile ride from Connecticut to Arkansas. It was amazing to see ALL the American flags flying the whole way. I felt so proud of my country!
I'm very glad life led me down this path and that I've never looked back.
To many to list, but thanks to all that have guided me along the way!
