Hey I'm pretty new to buying/collecting knives - I have a Kershaw wildcat ridge in 3140 Japan and a black Leek both of which I love. I have been reading up on some different steels available in the knives I have been checking out (mostly SOG, Kershaw, and CRKT) and it looks like itl be a choice between AUS8, 14C28N, and VG10. As far as the actual models I'm kinda stuck between a Blur in 14c28n, an Aegis in vg10 (i think!) and a crkt Ken Onion Forsight which is AUS8. (Seems like the vg10 has a bit more longevity but less ability to get that 'razor' edge to it? that's mostly what I've gotten from my reading but feel free to correct me)

Really like the look and feel of all of these models but just having a tough time deciding since I'm a student and can afford only one! Wondering if anyone has experience or advice on these in terms of fit and finish and how well they function as far as opening mechanisms, handle/grip quality and differences or pros and cons of the blades and their respective steels?

Sorry in advance for my extensive questions but people on this forum seem really knowledgeable so I just figured I would ask away:D
