If you had 100$ to spend this week on kershaws what would you spend it on.........im leaning toward JYD2 Composite, speed bump, rake, or 0200 blem......All but the ZT would leave me room for a 2nd 30-40 dollar knife. what do u think???? how would u spend it???

i already have knockout and ram......zing from dave is what i plan on getting with extra money. i seen he has two since u collect them which is the more rare of them?

ive heard alot of great things about the 550 are they really that great a knife???? im not big on spending over 100 bucks on a knife

I'm not sure about numbers, but after a month of searching the web and auctions Dave is the only one I have seen with the black tanto. Actually just got one from him last week.

I like the 200 out of your list, but since I already have one, I personally would buy the jyd, then a black cryo.

This, for sure.

ive never owned a blur but have been meaning to get one......im just not sure id like the thumb stud deployment of the speedsafe, i dont like other kershaws set up that way which makes me think i wouldnt like the blur as well

Try it you will like it. It is totally different than other Kershaw assisted. Imo most speed safes with flipper aren't meant to be opened with studs if they have them. With the Blur it is just so natural.

I wouldnt consider anything else on your list besidez the 200. And yes the 550 is well worth the money. Probably the best bargain as far as hard use ti liner locks. Plus you can get scales and lock bar stabilizers to pimp it out.

I'd get a Damascus Shallot. Kershawguy still has them in stock on his web site. The combination of the wavy Damascus patterns plus the curves of the blade on the Shallot looks great.

I'd say +1 on the CF Blur as well, but I already have one. If you don't, it's definitely worth checking out. The Leek is another good one (also still available w/ Damascus blade, but the composite one is great too). With the CB Leek, you should have plenty left over for a second knife.

Doesnt seem to be alot of love for the JYD2 composite blade......is there a reason for that???? its high on my list is why i ask same goes with speed bump...

They are really smooth flippers, I've had two, just a little big for my liking.

I have both the JYD composite and the Speed Bump(both from Dave)and I like the JYD better. Both are great knives, but the JYD is just so smooth. Is just feels more substantial in the hand than the bump. You should also check out the stud lock thread if you're thinking about the bump. It's an exceptional lock, but it is a bit different.

S30V blur or the CB JYD2. I've owned the JYD, it was the smoothest, strongest, most comfortable heavy duty kershaw I've ever owned.
