I recently purchased a buck 100 year knife and can find no reference to it. It has "100" laser cut thru the blade, how rare/valuable is this knife? It is a fixed blade

Not really and not much...this is just my opinion and perspective.
Buck produced a shipload of 100 year knives, of all models. Not much fanfare during the event and even less in the following years...maybe in the next 100 years

The only one that might be...that I know of is the 119 second from the top. It has 'yellowish' micarta spacers because the supplier ran out/short and Buck need to continue production so went with it. (The stag handled 119 is not a 100 year knife(

H harleyray44 Welcome to the Buck forum, your first post here.
Is your knife like the 2nd from bottom shown above? That is the model 119.
Buck made 1,120 of those in 2002 celebrating Buck Knives 100 year anniversary, 1902-2002.
A "shipload" :) of hundred year marked items were made in 2002 accross the entire product line.
Cut-out blades are somewhat devisive, some love em, others hate em, so value varies greatly depending on the buyer.
My buddy Preston (above) and I fall on opposite sides of the fence in that regard.
Yes, he does show one in the picture but I don't think he would enthusiastically search for more... (am I right pjsjr pjsjr ?)

Your are correct, Roger, I like a plain, unmolested blade...mirror polished is OK ;) I do have one or two others, one is another 100 year issue, a110 with a deer head cut-out.
It is good that you mention that people's taste in various aspects of collectibles affect its value to them which is why I stated, my opinion/perspective.

I thought I saw one listed on Buck Knives For Sale for around $500.00...250 made? Just looked and it's not there, could have been one of the listings removed. They/it won't be cheap.

Off/on topic, does anyone know value/ number made of the 9/11 110?
Just remembered Roger did the SPS this year on 9/11, and posted his and that the quantity is not known...
