I figured out costs, and it looks like I could offer a basic knife, with oak handles, and no sheath, for $108 shipped. Other handles and sheaths would be available for extra costs. I'm talking about a knife around 8" long, with a 3 1/2"-3 3/4" blade, not a mini. Grind would be "scandivex."

If this sounds interesting to anyone, I can do a prototype in the next week.

Should be posting a picture late next week. I'm just trying to decide whether to put oak handles on the first one and sell it for $100 or tiger maple and sell it for $110.

I would go with oak and mark it $99.99, advertise it as a handmade knife for less than $100:rolleyes:
