I am a fairly new member here, but have really enjoyed my time spent and have learned a wealth of knowledge so far. I have never seen a site that has so many "giveaways" and no one seems to want anything in return. That speaks volumes for the kind of people that "knife people" are. Sooooo, I want to get in on this giveaway thing too.

It's going to be a mystery knife of a traditional variety. It's not going to be a high dollar item, but hey, a free knife is a free knife! Let's run this thing until June 9th and I will use a random number generator to pick the winner by post number in the thread. A simple "I'm in" will work and please only one post per person. Feel free to take a guess on the knife. Hints may come later.

Thanks all!

***EDIT**** New twist to the mystery. There is going to be two winners and two knives. Just like the Showcase Showdown on the Price is Right, the first winner will be shown one knife and he/she will have the option to take it or pass and take the 2nd mystery knife. Then a 2nd winner will be selected and get whichever knife the 1st winner does not take.

I love me a good mystery giveaway... I'm in! Most people wait to do a giveaway until they've been here longer, but I promise I'll do one too if I'm lucky enough to win.

Im in for the mystery gaw. As a fellow newbie I would agree this forum (especially the traditional side) is outstanding.

A mystery you say?

Yes and it would have worked too...If it wasn't for those meddling trad forumites:thumbup:
I'm In
cheers.

I'm in!
I love small knives. I actually have a mini collection.. i guess if you count 4 or 5 a collection.. I work in an office and find them easy to carry, and less intimidating then a tactical folder.
Thank you so much for the opportunity, and for my guess.. I think I might go with the Swiss Army Classic.. if that counts as a traditional..

This is not an entry, but that's pretty generous of you doing a giveaway at 100 posts. I'm waiting to hit 1000 posts to do a giveaway most likely in the maintenance section of the forums given all the help I received there when learning how to freehand sharpen.

I'm in. I'm a newbie to this forum too. And I agree that the people here are very nice compared to some of the places I've been in. So much so that I don't think I'll be spending much time on those forums anymore. This place is all I need.

Great to see so many giveaways here, this has to be the most generous corner of the internet. Thanks Maverick, it will be interesting to see what the 'mystery knife' is. Please don't count me in though, I've already been the recipient of a lot of kindness lately. Good luck to everyone who enters
