I've noticed they are not in the 2021 catalog.
Many dealers are running low on stock, or are even out of stock.
Some dealers show in stock dates on some knives in early March..... While others sell them, but ship from Buck's inventory.

The phenolic ones are cool. Great users.
It's easy to get excited about the upcoming micarta and s35v knives.

Meanwhile the bass and cocobolo knives are slipping away.
Yeah it's easy to pick on the 420hc blades. Personally I think they are fine.

But that wood and brass is SO COOL looking.
Some of my prettiest affordable Bucks are brass and wood.
I've given many away, and suddenly realized I don't have them for myself.

I encourage all of you to take a look at what you own, and think about grabbing some of these while you can.

Stock at Buck is below 10 on some of these and they are disappearing fast.
Take advantage of your BCCI discount and grab that missing knife from your collection.
It's too pretty not to.

Just a heads up.
Thanks Guys!

I noticed that too. I’m glad I got the cocobolo and brass 117,119 and 120 last year. They are good looking, fantastic knives! They are a bit heavier but I like that. I like the new pro 100 series with the S35vn blades and micarta handles, however I would rather have the brown or natural micarta than the drab green. But I am thinking about getting the 105 pro when they come available.

Were 110's and 112's made with it?
It seems a few years ago they had the cocobolo dymondwood in the custom shop for the 110 and 112. I had an itch to get one made with s30v but just never did. And I’ve seen some SFOs that had it. I don’t think there’s any current 110 or 112 with it.

My sons have the set from Sams and luckily the 117 for Christmas.

it seems like the brass from the 120 patinas differently than the brass on the 110. Kind of weird.

Not the cocobola but the phenolic has been my favorite for about fifty years! Of course I like the cocobola too!

I agree.
I like the weight and balance of the phenolic knives as users.
The brass adds weight I prefer as the knife grows larger.
It's a bummer to lose either from the catalog.

I’ve owned one Buck Knife in the 100 series with brass hardware (far right in picture), but none with a cocobolo handle. I sold it, the balance was different from the aluminum hardware versions, so I know I wouldn’t care for the heavier cocobola handle. I agree that the Personal is the most useful of the series, and have prepared for the day that they were no longer made. I replaced the brass/5160 version with another aluminum/440C version (that one is not pictured here). OH

Ones one go about applying a BCCI discount? I'm a BCCI member. Thank you

JB claims you can do it on Buck's website.
I couldn't figure it out.
Kevin at Buck helped set mine up for me.
He really just needed to link my Buck account with my BCCI info and now every time I sign in, I'm all set.

I noticed there's only 14 105's left at Buck.
All the rest of the 100 series brass knives are gone.

Here's what I come up with.
There not all the same date code, but I don't care about that.
I missed out on the 212 brass. I've got a WTB listing for one, so I'll unashamedly mention that.

I'm sure folks here have lots of these themselves.
Lets see em!

I'm just glad to have put this little collection together.
Thanks!
