Hey everyone, first post. Looks like I'm gonna have about $100-$120 to blow on whatever. Figured I might as well buy another blade. Any ideas? I'm looking at a ZT350, Benchmade 710, Or the Sypderco Paramilitary 2 currently. Can't make up my mind on what to get. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

You cant go wrong with the Para 2 or the Zt350. I had a 710 and didnt really like it. The thumb stud is way to close to the g10 and difficult to open. Mine also had a very weak detent. I sold it and got a Spyderco Military and would recommend that over the 710. With that said a lot of people love the 710 and many consider it a classic design. Check out the Manix2, Superleaf, Junior, and Sage2. I you can wait, the Manix2 xl is coming out soon.

Have a good one,

Chris

Another vote for the Para. It quickly became my favorite in June and has rarely not been in my pocket since then. For me the Para just plain works.

I love my ZT 350, but I just got a Manix 2 and it took the ZT right out of my pocket for now. Couldn't go wrong with either of those. Considering a Para 2 myself.

The Spyderco Gayle Bradley in cmp m4 is a great knife. Good ergos and very tough. A little over you $ limit at $130ish.

if you want a folder with a large blade, the Military & ZT0200 are in your budget. for something a little shorter, the paramilitary 2 or ZT0350. Whichever one you choose, you won't be disapointed! Other contenders can also include the Manix 2, Gayle Bradley, and the Yojimbo 2 if you can find it.
