My favorite knife is this RC-4.

It was my first RAT knife and is my go-to user. Just as efficient and useful in the kitchen as it is on my day hikes and weekend camping trips. I would say the 4 is the best all-arounder in the ESEE line-up and that's why it's my favorite :)

Thanks for the chance!

I have since traded this particular blade (For an ESEE-3 in orange/green) but I have two 3s and they are my favorite field blades.

My first RAT Cutlery RC-4. It is my favorite blade because it has handled every task I've given it with no problems.

thanks for the chance.. !!

I'll assume this is for a favorite 'esee' knife of all time...

here's a couple pics of my 4 in its golden days, its pretty thrashed nowadays..

I love the way it feels in the hand, and I've had it out by itself building shelters, I've cut 4" trees down with it to build shelters etc, I've slammed the baton down on this sucker trying to break it.. Its an amazing tool, and I wouldn't feel under-gunned if this was all I had..

My first spoon..

Congrats on 1k Sadie!

From back during the shelter contest....found a tinder bundle and got it first strike with the 4 and a ferro rod.

I've posted this picture before, but here it is again.

The ESEE-5 is probably the best knife i will ever own.

At Tracker School, using my RC-5 to add some finishing touches on my bow for bowdrill firekit.

** Thanks for the contest, SadieJane! **

Here is my ESEE-4. It's dimensions, size, weight, edge holding, handle, and philosophy of use are all in line with what I was looking for in a knife. Bushcraft. It is the best I've used, and I wouldn't reach for any other.
