I apologize if this has already been answered.

I'm trying to make an approximately 1000 word post to the Gareth Bull thread in good, bad, ugly. It's a synopsis of the 300 plus posts and a call for action from Gareth.

The site takes the text, but when I push post, I end up disconnecting from the site. I tried breaking the post into multiple parts, and was able to post about half of it in the first post. In the second post I could only post 1 additional paragraph. I ended up editing the 2 posts and saying deleted for editing.

Is there a word count limit I'm up against?

Thanks,

Larry

There is a possible system defect that makes it hard to post at times, not always. Even for me! often around midnight.

All I can suggest is to post in as many pieces as it takes.

I would also suggest that if you are posting at such length, you may be posting for your own eyes. Many members will not read overly long posts, especially if they aren't formatted appealingly.

Separate sections

Breaking the final product into short paragraphs makes reading much easier. A really long post might benefit from separate sections of paragraphs with a bolded heading.

A post with 1K words might be a bit much. I know there is a word limit but I am not sure what it is, could be around the 1K mark. I'd suggest trimming it down as much as possible, to make it more likely to be read as well as posted. Most folks don't want to read essay length posts.
