Hi guys and gals.

I've been holding off posting since i got to post 999 and wanted to get my gold membership first. So i paid up about a day or 2 ago and got my gold membership the next day. Very quick service for an international order. Thumbs Up Spark.

Anyway, i've gotten a lot from this forum and thought it was time i give back something. I couldn't think of a prize so i thought i'd give the winner a $30 gift certificate to spend at Amazon.com (if only knife shops had gift certificates!).

So...here's the competition.
Very easy. Just guess my father's birthday. I'll hold the competition till Midnight (UK Time on Wednesday 2nd March 2005). The first person to post the correct date will get it and if no one guesses the correct date, the first person closest to it will get it. Only one guess per person please.

Edited to add: You don't need to guess the year. Just the day and month. I don't wanna complicate things.

Thanks for the chance! By my arcane calculations, your father should have the same birthday as me, July 24th.
