The Excuse: 1000th post

The Prize: Minty Kershaw 1635 Mini Cyclone Satin Plain-edge

The Rules: At least 5 previous posts in the Kershaw sub-forum, U.S. addresses only, two guesses per day. Contest ends when someone guesses correctly (duh) or at 7:00 PM CST next Sunday night (Nov-30) in which case I'll rely on /dev/urandom.



The Question: "Swamp" plays percussion for what band?



The Fine Print: Even if your neighbor's garage band has a drummer named Swamp, you'll still have to guess the band I'M referring to. So there.
 
Congrats on 1,000 post riffraff! Thanks for the giveaway. I have no clue to the answer to your question, but how about Herbie Hancock's "Headhunters"?

Damn, this one went quick:D I would've guessed something like Insane Clown Posse, Slipknot, or Mudvayne, since I'm a huge metal fan but don't know anything about these three bands, and they all seem wacky enough tho have a member named Swamp;)
 
w00t my first contest win. thanks riff raff. believe it or not, i was listening to some of their stuff. its kinda hilarious. also, im a drummer so i made sure i did a ton of research.

oh and ICP no drummer to speak of, slipknot = main: joey jordison, other percussion= chris fenn & shawn cranham, mudvayne = matt mcdonough

:) sorry, im a drummer who used to work in a music instrument shop surrounded by drummers. im a font of useless drumming info :)

Yeah, they're...different. :eek: I had thought that they were off-the-wall enough to make this a challenge. Guess I was wrong! :cool:
