Are all of the 100 series knives with inverted 3-line tang stamps rare? I know the 110 is, and seem to remember reading about the 116, 119, and others being rare (or at least scarce). I also remember the spacers were an issue too. Please help.

As I remember these inverted three liner have been made less than one year. But they have been production knives. Accordingly you find them not very often but on the other side they are not really rare. Only a few knifes had their first production run in this time frame, so they are very rare, for example the Akonua. But this is not from the 100 series.

drei3, Habbie is correct. But realize we have been collecting for 25 years. So, if you're starting out it will be hard to find a full set like he shows. What was not so hard to find back then will be now. DM

Very nice Haebbie, and thanks.

DM--I'm not new (been collecting Buck knives since the early 60's), but I am old and forgetful!

There are some 110's that come up on the bay but you must be very careful about many different factors just for the reason it is old. It can be bentback, or oversharpened with scratches.
