Morning 101'ers,

If anyone has ever worried about you scales coming of let me set your mind at ease, Those dudes are on tight. I could have removed bolsters and scales on a 110 in the time it took me to get these off. Thought you all may want to see the inside of one. Kinda surprised me.101.jpg

thanks for the pic. i was wondering what it looked like under there. i was planning on rehandling mine also.
 
Just had an email today from an online seller with the 101 on special for $64. In Bucks 420hc.

Does anyone offer this model in an upgraded steel? A quick online search didn’t yield anything. But I’ve no issues with the 420hc.

I’ve been looking to get one and that price seemed to be not bad. Not sure if there’s free shipping. Sometimes a good price isn’t so good if they are dinging you a lot to ship.

*Should add I’m not trying to hijack your thread. Just figured I’d ask in here rather than starting another with my question. Thanks!

C&C has one in 5160 steel currently in the Sale section.
 
There was a version sold thru the BCCI a couple years ago that had a S35VN blade and random pattern carbon fiber handle. They have been long sold out so one would have to be found in the secondary market.
