This is another 1967 purchase. I tried to take a closeup of the "Buck*" stamp but it was too blurry. This time I can see the dot to the right of the "Buck" stamp. What can be gleaned from looking at this 103? Seeing the extra spacers what can you experts tell me about this knife?

Here are some pictures of my 102 with the same spacer configuration. It is my understanding as related to me by Matt Jannusch that the extra spacers would sometimes be used if everything came up a little short in the handle fitting but that it was not a regular feature. Mine is a fiber spacered barrel nut c.1962/1963.
