Is the blade on the 104 supposed to have a slight recurve? Or is it supposed to be strait from the choil to the belly? Is this done intentionally? Or by accident?

It’s about 1/32” deep.

Every single 104 that I’ve handled or seen has had the mild recurve, so I imagine it’s intended.

yep intended. every 104 i own, think 5 or so, and have seen have it. some have more recurve than others though.

Both of mine are the same, this model and the red ceracote blade model. I guess it's intentional. I imagine a cut using the entire blade will slice and then dig in further on the finish.

Thanks for the responses guys. Kind of what I figured. On purpose or not they are all the same. Good to know. CC07A413-505D-4144-8223-A8BAA829BC76.jpeg I could not live with it like that. I had to sharpen it out. It’s straight now from Choil to belly. You can still see the factory grind on the edge under the anvil. You can see how much of the choil was used up. I left the belly full width.
