Buckaroos...

I don't have a 118.
I've been Buckless in the world of new items for me and am thinking of getting one.

Can someone post a pic of 105 and 118 together?
If ya can also throw a 119 in the same pic, that would be too cool for school.

Also, interested in opinions regarding the 118.

Thanks!
Goose.

My pleasure.

118 Personal (decades of use, handle metal dulled on purpose)
105 Pathfinder
119 Special

THANKS SASU!!!
For the quick reply and pic!!!!

But now I am even ore perplexed...I thought the 118 was gonna be larger than the 105.

And, to me, the 118 looks like the same size as a 102 Woody

Thinking that the 118 may be too small for my liking as I find the 105 just right.
So, I must humbly ask for a pic of the 102 AND 118 together.

In some long past thread, I listed the blade lengths of all of these...

Bottom up
116, 102, 118, 105, 121

Thanks Larry!!!

Unless anyone has some compelling argument, I don't really see much diff between the 105 and 118 to warrant a 118 purchase.. ????

The 105 is a little more heavy duty knife than the 118. I like the heft and the sturdier blade.

118 Personal, 105 Pathfinder, 102 Woodsman, 110.

Notice the small handle on the Woodsman.

I think the idea behind the 118 is the long curve of the edge, makes processing game easier. Still the knife is petite enough for delicate work.

LOL I agree with Pack Rat!

Get one of each Goose!!! You won't get an arguement here! We don't come here to talk each other out of knives ;)

The 118 has a totally different blade to it. You would have to try it to appreciate it. It is my dads fav. Buck. I never really took to it, but you should give it a shot. Besides you need another EDC! :D

I have a 105BP (Rosewood) and consider it my favorite all around Buck fixed. I love that pup.

Guess I Just have to get a 118 to "appreciate" it for myself.
