I have had an interest in this little knife for a long time. Does anybody use one on a regular bases? Is it comfortable in the hand?

Thanks for any information!

I got one recently and love the way it fits my hand, but it might be a little small for someone with a larger hand. I think my glove size is medium.

Thanks bertl. The Scout isn't discussed much, so I appreciate your feedback.

I got one when they first came out in 1976 and I still have it. It works great on field dressing and processing Whitetail deer. I've used mine for everything, from skinning coyotes to filleting fish. It does a good job on such tasks. A 4" blade of 440C. DM

DM,
Are the ones in the Trio set 440C also?

The 4" paring knife in the Empress Trio set, model 200, is the same knife, handle and steel. But stamped different and on the opposite side of the blade. Plus, it came with a pouch sheath. Buck's first at the time. The aforementioned set came out in 1972. I should add that folks have purchased a 107 Scout in its box, later to find it was stamped with 'Buck usa' in old English script, like the Empress Trio paring knife.

Thanks David,,
Thought that would be the case, just wasn't sure.
