Hello all!

I have primarily been making my knives in 01 tool steel. However as I continue making knives, I also want to start working with some more basic carbon steels. Where do you fellow knife makers source your 1075, 1080, 1084, and 1095 steels? I primarily use the stock removal method so precision ground or flat stock would be ideal. I primarily make knives at this point from 1" wide to 1.25" wide stock with a thickness of either 1/8, 9/64, or 5/32.

I browsed the internet for several hours last night but couldn't find a definitive place that offered it in various thicknesses and widths. So what do you use?

Thanks!

NJ Steel Baron as mentioned above, is a very reputable distributor. I buy all my steel form Aldo (Owner of NJ steel Baron), and have have never had a problem with the company or the steel.
