1080 Hollow Handle "Air Raid"

Here's my most recent knife, my take on those Vietnam era hollow handle Randall knives.
1080 blade, with functioning sawback.
Machined aluminum handle, also made by me.
Convex grind.
This knife has held up to everything I've put it through, including prying and batoning.
Not the prettiest, but I go for function.

I like it! However looks like a twine handle, will not hold up and if you want it to if dip it in wax
 
You're right! I wanted to use bank line but had none, so I gotta still wax it.

You can buy leather in that color and that size at your local arts and crafts store, soak it in warm water and wrap it tight! Make sure your hands are clean or it will dirty the leather, trust me I've rewrapped things many times because I forgot to clean my hands lol
