1084 and Hemp

Here is one that I just finished. Tried a little something different.

Forged 1084
Hemp Cord wrapped sealed with a mixture of Teak Oil and Polyurethane
OAL - 8"
Cutting Edge - 3 1/2"

Well, the Hemp didn't work out as I planned. It was too fragile.......See post on down

I like the blade and the design, but the handle looks to be a bit sticky. Still cool.

Well, the Hemp just didn't work out well. It was too soft and fragile, so I just started over. This time I wrapped in paracord and sealed with epoxy. This one is as tuff as nails.

I planted them in order to try to grow "stronger" handle materials
