Hey guys I just finished up this commission which is gonna be a Christmas present. The steel is 1084 from Aldo and the handle is desert ironwood and aluminum pins. I took the handle up to 2500 grit and coated with Danish oil. This is my first time working with desert ironwood and I must say I love it...even though it's a pain to work with. The blade is a full flat grind and hand rubbed to 600 grit. Please comment/critique. Thanks for checking it out!
