1084 camp knife

I got some 1084 that I can't get to finish out right. It's always got some cloudy looking spots . It's been thermal cycled down all the way from 1800, 1600, 1500, 1250, back up to 1500 and quenched in 75 degree parks 50......I've tried everything I can think of and it's still looks like random hamon marks all over. So I had to force a patina to make it look alright. Mustard mixed 50/ 50 with lemon juice and thickened with instant coffee....it's strong stuff!!!! Turned out okay.

Looks great. Did you have any pictures of the ghost hamon?

I wonder if it was a auto hamon. Where was the steel from?

Thanks, I got it from Pops
