I was wondering if you, or another poster knows, if the scales can be swapped between the two. Or, are they glued-on, or attached someway that removing them would destroy them?

SO, once I remove them, are they unusable again, as with the red cellidors you explain the 2nd vid?
 
Does the combo unit, as on the Waiter, do an adequate job of opening a can? I can see it does not have the point, nor the edge, of the dedicated can-opener blade. Thinking of a having one built, and would go with the combo blade as long as it works. :)
