Hey ya'll this here is one i forged a couple weeks ago and finished today.

details

measurementsare 10 1/4'' o.a.l., blade is 5 3/16'' tip to plunge, and just over 3/4'' at the widest point.

blade is flat ground and clay quenched. the finish is a satin finish, then i etched in vinegar/citric powder solution, then cold blued, and buffed of slightly to give a little bit of a worn patina look.

handle is 3/16'' black linen micarta stacked up, and the spacers are nickle silver. the butt cap is a file worked chunk of 60 some layer damascus, made from thin h/c stock, and it is threaded onto the tang, but to really keep the handle tight i also epoxyed it all together.

Really cool, I like the spacers in the handle. Looks like it has a nice hammon.

thanks, yeah the hamon wasn't nothing complex, but is well pronounced, just simple though, It looked better before i buffed off the cold blue, but that just wears off anyway, and since this is a user, i prefered the worn patina look,

andrew
