Here is one I just finished for a forum member based on his design:

1095, acid etched, flat grind, tiger stipe maple scales, copper pins, and lanyard hole. Appx. 7 3/8" overall. Cutting edge is 2 3/4".

I could do without the long ricasso but that's just me.

I love the combination of the blade finish, handle and black liners.

Looks cleeeeeeen.

I've added a photo to maybe show the advantage of the large ricasso. (I got my wife to hold the blade since you probably don't want to see how dirty my hands are right now. Please remember, her hand is going to be smaller than the average male's) When you choke up on the blade, it acts as a nice flat surface for your thumb.

Thanks Henry ,

It's exactly what I wanted. It turned out perfect. Being able to choke up on the blade gives you better control and easy finger cover of the point, both being helpful if your working inside the chest cavity of an animal. (Its gonna be a user)!!!!!
Can't wait to show it off at deer camp. I never thought getting a handmade knife could be so easy. It was a pleasure dealing with you. Hope the show goes well.
