Just wanted to get rid of a scrap of 1095fg laying around the shop so I forged out this little guy. Comments welcomed.

Blade Steel: Hand-forged 1095fg with hamon
Blade Length: 5&1/8" to the guard, 4&1/2" edge
Guard: 416SS with red G10 and stainless spacers
Handle: Stabilized Black Walnut with stainless pin
OAL: 9 & 7/8"
Sheath: Hand stitched leather with red leather lining

Didn't think I needed to bother Coop with this one so you'll have to put up with my phone pics.

Very nice Marc. Watching your progression pics on Instagram always impresses me. The level of planning and precision you maintain throughout the build is outstanding and it shows in the finished work.

Nice lines and very clean - what did you line the sheath with?

Nice one! I really love the blade profile and this red lining in the sheath looks very classy.

Thanks TK. The leather I used on the inside is called Ravello. It is chrome tanned but the safety of this type of leather next to knife blades has been confirmed in a thread over in "Sheaths and Such". Modern quality chrome tanned leather from major tanneries are safe. However, I still recommend to clients NOT to leave their knives stored long term in their sheaths just on general principle.

Thanks everybody for the kind remarks.
