This is the Tac 2.

It is 1095 with stabilized birdseye maple.

It was given a clay quench with what has turned out to be my best hamon so far.

If he likes it, this one is going to Spearz.

Still have to make the sheath.

Very nice. Looks like there is a lot of interest here. I think you might as well start mass producing these. :)
 
I really like the brass pins and mosaic on the birdseye maple wood. About 11" + inches of knife, one of the nicest knives I have seen, IMO.

Well kauai Marc it's me or you, I do like the way you came forward offering to buy the knife from Matt, outstanding.

I actually still have the Tac 1 that I made with a Teak handle. It is nearly identical (handle size is a bit different) and it also needs a sheath. It will be posted in a few days.
 
It would be my pleasure to own this knife. The other side is if kauai Marc would be a happy owner of one of Matt's best, it is my pleasure for Matt to sell it to him and all is good :confused:

I have a couple of Matt's already and will continue to be a repeat customer :thumbup: I'll leave it up to Matt and Kauai Marc?

I know this is not the for sale section, but this thread kind of went that direction. It is yours Kauai Marc if you still want it.
 
Thanks for all the comments guys. I guess I need to use this design a bit more. It seems that people seem to really like it.
