Ita, After seeing the first photo I was thinking you doomed the fitting but couldn't tell for sure. Thanks for the close ups. I like the direction you are taking.

That little spot was tricky for me to get,... not the kind of ricasso I'm used to. I used a radius at the blade to tang transition area, then fit the ferrule up with needle files and some planishing.

In the right light, that pommele sapele really pops! :)
 
Sweet! I really enjoy your "jewelry" making style knives. That little necker pokidoshi (?) piece still haunts my dreams.
