Here is one I just finished. The handle is the block of buckeye burl that I was sent from Mark at burlsource. It was some really nice wood. It is forged and clay coated for a hamon. It is my first large knife and my first double guard and I learned a lot and am pleased with the outcome. Here are the specs:
Steel: Forged 1095 and clayed for a hamon
Guard: Wrought iron with black spacer/copper/black spacer
Handle: Burlsource buckeye burl
OAL: 14 3/4"
Guard to tip: 8 3/4"
Spine width: 1/8" at ricasso with distal taper
Any comments/critique either good or bad welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Definitely a cool piece of wood. Can't complain about the wrought either.
