Here is what i have been working on lately. It is a X-mas present for the father-in-law of a guy where i work. It is 1095 steel, 3/16" thick, 1.5" wide, blade is 7", handel is 5" piece of antler shed supplied by the guy where i work, The blade is highly polished almost mirror, the quard is nickle silver with a leather washer between it and the antler. The sheath i made also from some leather i got at the fleamarket, drilled the holes for the waxed thread with my dremel and small bit. I hope his father-in-law like it.

Nice Job!! Get a little edge coat for the sides of the sheath. It will make it look more like a finished job. I love the stuff.....

Cool knife Terry :D

That's a nice knife Terry. The nickel guard is a nice departure from the brass tradition and looks well balanced next to your blade. Good sheath work too, very clean. I think that guy's gonna be rather pleased come Christmas morning.
