Here's a little hunter that I recently finished-
A fella I work with, one day comes to me and says that he heard I make knives, and that he has a bunch of ebony planks from an old project, and wants to know if I could make use of them.Of course I say hell yes and ask how much he wants for them.He says if you just get them out of my garage that will be payment enough!
Needless to say I made out like a bandit,so I thought it would be fair to make him a knife using said ebony.
And this is what I came up with:
its 8" oal
4" blade
hollow ground
etched to bring out the quench line(s)

When I gave it to him,he was really surprised(I never told him I was making it for him) He was really happy with the "rustic" look and couldn't wait to show his hunting buddy(his grandson) who will eventually get get this one.

Thanks for looking:)

Lovely cutter, maybe you can think the next itme to darken until black the sheat to beeter match the handles.
But it's a nice work indeed!
