I just finished this knife up Monday. There are four in the batch total, but this was the first one to get done. It is Aldo's 1095 with micarta and g10 scales. I have only done one hamon in the past, and that was with w1, so I decided I wanted to do some more. I basically followed Ryan Weeks' method, but I etched them a little longer in the ferric chloride and I also didn't have and 1500 grit SC powder.
