Hello, here's a bowie I recently finished up. It will be carried on the owner's bike to Sturgis this year. He's a retired Marine. The reverse side of the handle has some personal info/military insignia, that a local guy laser engraved for him. 1095 w/ Scotch-brite finish, SS, stab. black walnut. 7.25" blade, 12" overall.

lookin good buddy. The wood is beauty.
That is a no nonsense knife. A manly piece of kit if ever there was one. He will impress the hell out of a lot of folk in Sturgis.

That's a sweet bowie Tad. Lorien's right - I bet it will turn heads at Sturgis.

That's a great looking knife. The walnut looks exceptionally nice.

I agree, a fine and functional "no nonsense" knife, however it's going to be up against some mighty strong competition (bikes, ladies  :foot: ;)) for making an impression and turning heads at Sturgis. ;) :D

Beautiful piece! I really like the deep grind on the clip. Sets this one off very nicely. Good job.

Tad, I think the Sgt Maj will gets lots of attention in Sturgis. Too many bikes, girls and "scenery" that they start to run together after awhile.
Only one knife like this though. Well Done. WD

Very nice Tad. Great looking and using knife. Both of you can be proud of that one. Bet it gets a lot of looks in Sturgis.

Thanks, guys. I showed it to him today and figured out how I'm going to mount the sheath on an accessory bag on his Harley. I'll post pics when we get it on the bike.
